Abstract
Objective To explore the application effectiveness of a new in-hospital VTE(Venous Thromboembolism)prevention and management model based on the concept of smart healthcare,and to quantitatively evaluate its management effec-tiveness in improving VTE risk assessment rates,appropriate prevention rates,standardized treatment rates,and reducing in-hos-pital VTE incidence and bleeding events.Methods Using the smart healthcare platform,relevant data before and after the im-plementation of the new model were collected.Retrospective analysis was conducted from five dimensions:assessment indicators,prevention indicators,diagnosis indicators,treatment indicators,and outcome indicators.Results After the implementation of the new model,the VTE risk assessment rate among assessment indicators increased from 81.49％to 93.30％,and the bleeding risk assessment rate increased from 67.15％to 86.55％.Among prevention indicators,the appropriate prevention rate increased from 67.73％to 84.01％.Among diagnosis indicators,the positive rate of VTE examinations increased from 76.03％to 80.33％.Among treatment indicators,the standardized treatment rate increased from 73.52％to 86.26％.Among outcome indi-cators,the in-hospital VTE incidence rate decreased from 0.78％to 0.53％,and the bleeding event incidence rate decreased from 4.67％to 2.02％.All differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The new smart healthcare-enabled VTE prevention and management model effectively promotes the standardization and homogeneous management of prevention and management processes,significantly improves the implementation rates of key steps(e.g.,the VTE risk assessment rate in-creased by 11.81 percentage points,and the appropriate prevention rate increased by 16.28 percentage points),and effectively reduces the incidence of adverse events(e.g.,the in-hospital VTE incidence rate decreased from 0.78％to 0.53％,and the bleeding event incidence rate decreased from 4.67％to 2.02％).It serves as a powerful tool for enhancing medical quality and patient safety.关键词
