X80管线钢管开裂原因分析及试验研究
Cause analysis and experimental investigation of cracking in X80 pipeline steel pipe

Abstract
In response to the leakage issue occurring during the service of X80 steel pipe,a systematic research analysis was conducted to investigate its failure cause.Through macroscopic observation of cracks,microscopic analysis,fracture characteristic observation and analysis,hardness testing,combined with comprehensive physical and chemical property test results of the pipe body and brittle fracture simulation tests,the crack formation mechanism was thoroughly studied.The results indicate that the crack in the failed X80 steel pipe is a brittle fracture,and its specific formation mechanism is as follows:External impact caused damage to the external anti-corrosion layer of the pipeline and created a local dent on the pipe surface;micro-cracks generated at the bottom of the dent led to stress concentration,becoming the crack initiation source.In a low-temperature environment,the toughness of X80 steel significantly decreased,and when subjected to rapid external loading again,the crack propagated in a brittle manner from the initiation point along the direction of relatively weak material toughness(at a 45° angle to the rolling direction).Additionally,the actual strength of the pipe material was relatively high(exceeding the upper limit specified by the standard),which also increased the tendency for brittle fracture to a certain extent.The research results can provide experimental evidence and data reference for the anti-brittle fracture design and engineering protection of X80 pipeline steel.关键词
