摘要

Abstract

This study uses corn stover,an agricultural biomass waste,as raw material to prepare activated carbon products with rich pore struc-ture.The method adopts high-temperature carbonization and steam or carbon dioxide activation.Under the protection of nitrogen gas,within this temperature range,the activation reaction can be fully carried out and the performance of activated carbon can be avoided from deteriorating due to excessive carbonization.The activation time is usually controlled within 1~3 hours.If the reaction time is too short,the activation may not be sufficient,and if the reaction time is too long,it may damage the pore structure.Molding processing is carried out according to different ap-plication requirements.If used for gas-phase adsorption,it can be made into granular activated carbon,which can be mixed with an appropriate amount of binder(sodium carboxymethyl cellulose)through extrusion molding or disc granulation methods to produce particles with a certain particle size(2~4 mm);If used as a liquid-phase adsorption or catalytic carrier,it can be made into powdered activated carbon,and the crude activated carbon can be further ground to a suitable particle size(0.077~0.054 mm(200~300 mesh)).Activated carbon prepared from straw can reach the level of bamboo charcoal in terms of performance and can be used for later research and product preparation.
