Abstract
Animal disease surveillance had played an important role in the efforts of disease prevention and control,including early warning,efficiency evaluation,prevalence trend analysis,disease eradication assessment,exotic disease prevention,etc,although there were currently numerous challenges such as inadequate active surveillance,relative lack of passive surveillance,absence of data exchange and resource sharing among departments,poor capacities of local animal disease prevention institutions,etc.To this end,starting from improving the surveillance capacity of animal disease prevention system,expanding the sources of surveillance data,optimizing the effectiveness of active surveillance,and building a modern online platform of surveillance and early warning,animal disease surveillance should play a more prominent role through overcoming above challenges,constructing a new surveillance system and achieving the transformation and upgrading of disease surveillance.关键词
