摘要
Abstract
Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of transaxillary single-port endoscopic glandectomy and open periareolar incision glandectomy for gynecomastia. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 134 patients with gynecomastia who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital between October 2020 and April 2024.Of these,70 patients underwent open periareolar incision glandectomy(open group),and 64 patients underwent transaxillary single-port endoscopic glandectomy(endoscopic group). The following parameters were compared between the two groups:unilateral operative time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative pain assessed by the visual analogue scale(VAS)at 24 hours, duration of drainage, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative complication rates, the Vancouver scar scale(VSS)score at 1 month postoperatively, and the patient cosmetic satisfaction(CS)score at the same time point. Results Both groups successfully underwent the procedure and completed 2 months of follow-up.No statistically significant differences were observed between the two groups in unilateral operative time, intraoperative blood loss,post-operative hospital stay, duration of drainage,or postoperative complication rates(all P>0.05).However,compared with the open group, the endoscopic group showed significantly lower postoperative 24-hour VAS pain scores and VSS scar scores at 1 month postoperatively, along with significantly higher CS cosmetic satisfaction scores at the same time point(all P<0.05).Conclusion Transaxillary single-port endoscopic glandectomy is a safe and effective approach for gynecomastia, provided that indications are strictly evaluated and the surgery is based on proficient endoscopic breast anatomy.关键词
