摘要

Abstract

Objective To summarize the diagnosis and treatment process of a patient with traumatic arthritis of the elbow joint and nonunion of the ulna bone,and review the new progress in diagnosis and treat-ment through literature review.Methods A patient with elbow joint stiffness deformity,traumatic osteoar-thritis,ulna nonunion,and bone defect after trauma and multiple surgeries was treated with 3D printed semi re-strictive total elbow joint prosthesis for joint replacement using imaging technology.The patient's elbow joint was unable to move before surgery,showing a deformity of about 70 ° flexion.The Mayo elbow joint score was 30 points,indicating poor elbow joint function.Results On the second day after surgery,the elbow joint could actively flex to 90° and straighten to 0°.After a 6-month follow-up,the patient was able to actively flex 140° and straighten 0°,and was very satisfied with the surgical outcome.Conclusion Personalized 3D printed el-bow joint prostheses are an ideal treatment for large bone defects in the elbow joint combined with arthritis and joint stiffness.However,a detailed evaluation is required before surgery to avoid the occurrence of complications.
