摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of platelet-rich plasma(PRP)combined with vacuum sealing drainage(VSD)in the repair of refractory sacrococcygeal pressure ulcer wounds. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 18 patients with refractory sacrococcygeal pressure ulcers admitted to our department from October 2019 to July 2023.All cases were classified as stage Ⅳpressure ulcers, with exposure of deep ligaments and bone tissue, and the defect area ranged from(12 cm×6 cm)to(15 cm×12 cm).The patients were treated with PRP gel combined with VSD.Results The wound cavities and sinus tracts showed significant reduction after PRP gel application in all 18 patients. The average wound areas before treatment and on days 5,14,and 21 after treatment were(128.22±31.54)cm2,(83.78±11.41)cm2,(45.06±8.69)cm2,and(25.82±5.89)cm2,respectively.Complete wound healing, defined as the full closure of cavities and sinus tracts plus complete re-epithelialization,was achieved at a mean of(30.11±2.05)days after PRP gel packing.During a follow-up period of 1 to 3 months, the healed sacro-coccygeal areas presented a satisfactory appearance with plump subcutaneous tissue and favorable elasticity and exhibited normal sensation. Conclusion PRP combined with VSD is a safe, effective, and simple to perform treatment for refractory sacrococcygeal pressure ulcers, effectively promoting tissue regeneration and repair, thus providing a feasible option for patients without flap transplantation indications.关键词
