Abstract
Poultry,as economically important species in global animal husbandry,exhibit critical epigenetic regulation governing their growth,reproduction,and disease resistance.In recent years,the emergence of Assay for Transposase-Accessible Chromatin using sequencing(ATAC-seq)technology has provided a pivotal technical tool for deciphering epigenetic regulatory mechanisms in poultry.This review summarizes research advances in ATAC-seq applications for investigating poultry growth and development,reproductive traits,and disease-related studies.It further serves as a reference for future investigations into chromatin accessibility and gene expression regulation,offering valuable insights for epigenetic research in avian species.关键词
