Research progress on gut microbiota-gut-brain axis and overall animal health
摘要
Abstract
The gut microbiota-gut-brain axis is a bidirectional communication pathway established between the gut microbiota,the gut,and the central nervous system.This highly complex signaling axis is deeply involved in the regulation of multiple physiological processes and plays a crucial role in maintaining overall health.Numerous studies have confirmed that the gut microbiota can establish close information exchange connections with the brain through multiple pathways,including neural conduction,endocrine regulation,immune responses,and metabolic actions,thereby achieving bidirectional signal transmission.Dysfunction or disruption of the gut microbiota-gut-brain axis may lead to various disorders of the digestive,nervous,and metabolic systems.Given this,the gut microbiota-gut-brain axis,as a highly promising target for regulating overall health,has become a research hotspot in the life sciences.This article focuses on the gut microbiota-gut-brain axis,systematically summarizes frontier research developments and phased achievements in health regulation,aiming to explore new breakthrough paths and innovative thinking for the prevention and treatment of related diseases.关键词
