The Evolution of Formal Beauty in Design Patterns Over Time:A Case Study of Guanyin Statues in Hair Embroidery Patterns

Abstract
This study takes Guanyin statues in hair embroidery as an example to explore the evolution of formal beauty in design patterns over time.As a symbol of traditional culture,the representation of Guanyin in hair embroidery not only reflects religious connotations but also embodies the evolution of aesthetic and artistic styles in different periods.The study analyzes changes in the design of Guanyin statues from ancient times to the present,including composition,color,and lines:in ancient times,the focus was on solemnity and elegance to highlight sacredness and compassion,using traditional embroidery techniques and colors;in modern and contemporary times,modern elements have been integrated,showing more diversity and individuality.While retaining traditional connotations,it combines contemporary aesthetics to form a new style.This paper aims to reveal the laws governing the changes in the formal beauty of design patterns in different periods,explore the relationship between tradition and modernity,art and practicality,and provide theoretical support for the inheritance and innovation of hair embroidery.关键词
