Abstract

In recent years,the application of ancient Chinese mythological themes in digital content creation has gained significant momentum,with Artificial Intelligence Generated Content(AIGC)technology opening new avenues for innovative expression of cultural elements.This study examines game character design that incorporates characteristics of traditional Chinese Yunmengze mythology from an AIGC perspective.Through case analysis methodology,it investigates personification strategies for Yunmengze cultural elements in character design and approaches for extracting and integrating mythological components.The research further analyzes both the potential and practical challenges of AIGC technology in cultural dissemination and digital innovation.Findings indicate that personified design effectively balances cultural representation with aesthetic considerations in character development,while demonstrating how the integration of Yunmengze mythological elements enriches the conceptual depth of game characters.Nevertheless,challenges persist in balancing cultural heritage with innovative expression and ensuring accurate transmission of cultural elements.Accordingly,this study proposes recommendations including enhanced applied research in AIGC technology,specialized talent cultivation,and strengthened policy guidance,aiming to provide both theoretical foundation and practical insights for AIGC's role in preserving and promoting traditional culture.
