Exploiting Markets Outward or Fighting for Funds Upward:a Comparison of Rural Industry Transformation Paths Under the-Life Cycle Theory

Abstract
Industrial transformation and upgrading is a necessary way for villages to cope with changes in economic and social development and realize revitalization and development,and it is also an important foundation and key path to realize rural modernization.In the face of uncertainties brought about by economic globalization and resource bottleneck issues in the process of rural modernization,this study is based on the lifecycle theory framework of"incubation-growth-quality improvement-maturity."It selects Hongshi Village and Pengjiagou Village as case studies to compare and analyze the driving mechanisms of two paths for rural industrial transformation:expanding markets externally and securing funds internally.The study reveals the influencing factors of these two paths.The findings are:The choice of rural industrial transformation path is non-unique and dynamic;The decision-making process for rural industrial transformation paths must closely align with the interaction mechanisms between internal and external entities,market demand,and resource endowments This study puts forward suggestions on the transformation path of rural industries at different life cycle stages,in order to realize sustainable development and maximize economic benefits,so as to provide theoretical support and practical reference for the promotion of rural revitalization strategy and agricultural and rural modernization,and then promote the construction of Chinese-style modernization.关键词
