中医药调控JAK2/STAT3信号通路治疗脊髓损伤的研究进展
Research progress in the regulation of JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway by traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of spinal cord injury

Abstract
Spinal cord injury(SCI)is a major challenge in medicine.The current primary treatments for SCI are early surgical decompression and glucocorticoid pulse therapy.However,these therapies have considerable side effects and are often ineffective in suppressing neuroinflammation-induced secondary damage,thereby limiting the recovery of neurological function.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has attracted attention from researchers both domestically and abroad due to its relatively minor side effects.Modern studies have shown that sustained abnormal activation of the Janus kinase 2(JAK2)/signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)signaling pathway after the occurrence and progression of SCI can lead to increased expression of inflammatory factors associated with the SCI.This article analyzes relevant literature from both domestic and international sources to summarize the role of the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway in the onset and progression of SCI.Furthermore,from the perspectives of single compounds in Chinese herbal,traditional herbal formulas,and acupuncture,this paper reviews the mechanisms by which TCM intervenes in the occurrence and development of SCI through the regulation of the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway,aiming to provide new insights for clinical research and drug development of SCI.关键词
