Effects of Combined Application of Organic Fertilizer and Microbial Inoculant on GroWth and Seed Quality of Sapindus mukorossi

Abstract
To reveal the effects of combined application of organic fertilizer and microbial inoculant on the growth of Sapindus mukorossi and the fat content in its fruit seeds,and to explore the optimal fertilization formula for improving seed quality,this study took 8-year-old S.mukorossi as the test material and adopted a four-factor and four-level orthogonal experiment to investigate the impacts of different fertilization treatments on the growth and fruit quality of S.mukorossi.The results showed that the combined application of organic fertilizer and different microbial inoculants(Bacillus subtilis,Bacillus lichenifor-mis,and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens)could significantly promote the growth and yield increase of S.mukorossi.Among all treatments,the T7 treatment(3000g of organic fertilizer+80g of B.subtilis+120g of B.licheniformis)achieved the high-est relative growth rate of tree height,which was 53.18%higher than that of the control(no combined application of organ-ic fertilizer and microbial inoculant).The T4 treatment(120 g of B.subtilis+120 g of B.licheniformis+120 g of B.amyloliquefaciens)had the highest relative growth rate of crown width,reaching 30.00%.The T8 treatment(3000g of or-ganic fertilizer+120g of B.subtilis+80g of B.licheniformis+40g of B.amyloliquefaciens)obtained the highest relative growth rate of ground diameter,at 2.10%.The T13 treatment(9000 g of organic fertilizer+120 g of B.licheniformis+40 g of B.amyloliquefaciens)yielded the highest output,with 12.47 kg per tree,increasing by 280.18%compared with the CK treatment.Fertilization significantly affected the fat content and fatty acid composition in seeds.Specifically,the T15 treat-ment(9000g of organic fertilizer+80g of B.subtilis+40g of B.licheniformis+120g of B.amyloliquefaciens)had the high-est fat content,reaching 39.17%.The T16 treatment(9000g of organic fertilizer+120g of B.subtilis+80g of B.amyloliq-uefaciens)showed the best effect on increasing saturated fatty acids in seeds,while the T6 treatment(3000 g of organic fertilizer+40 g of B.subtilis+120 g of B.amyloliquefaciens)had the lowest content of saturated fatty acids.In addition,the T6 treatment had the highest contents of unsaturated fatty acids and oleic acid(C18∶1).Reasonable combined applica-tion of microbial inoculants could significantly promote the growth and yield of S.mukorossi.Range analysis indicated that the optimal fertilization combination was 9000g of organic fertilizer+120g of B.licheniformis+40g of B.amyloliquefaciens.According to the seed characteristics of S.mukorossi,the optimal combination for increasing fat content was 9000 g of or-ganic fertilizer+80 g of B.subtilis+40 g of B.licheniformis.The combination of 9000 g of organic fertilizer+120 g of B.sub-tilis+80 g of B.amyloliquefaciens resulted in the highest content of saturated fatty acids,and the combination of 3000 g of organic fertilizer+40 g of B.licheniformis+120 g of B.amyloliquefaciens was conducive to improving the content of unsatu-rated fatty acids.关键词
