The Optimization Design for the Carbon Emission and Reduction of the Buildings During Operation Period:A Case of the Dormitory Building of a Coastal University in Qingdao

Abstract
Reducing the carbon emissions of the buildings during the operation period serves as a critical foundation for achieving the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.This paper carried out the optimization design for the carbon emission of a dormitory building in a coastal university in Qingdao during the operation period.It analyzed its carbon emission during the operation period by using Green Building Sware software,and revealed that the carbon emissions of the building during this period accounted for 53.53%of the carbon emissions in the total life cycle.Through analysis,it found out the existing problems,and then carried out the optimization design for carbon reductions in the operation period from several aspects.In terms of the envelope structure,the Low-E glass is used for balcony enclosure,reducing the carbon emissions of heating and cooling by 58.7%indirectly by reducing the indoor load.In terms of the optimization and transformation of the energy system,it focuses on the transformation of solar thermal water heating.In terms of carbon sink,it focuses on vegetation replanting in the surrounding areas,achieving a 111.3%increase in carbon sink during the operation period.The research conclusion provides a reference for the study on carbon emission optimization of the dormitory buildings in the operation period.关键词
