The Planning and Architectural Design of Kindergartens under the Concept of"Environment Is Education":A Case of Wanshan Lake Experimental Kindergarten

Abstract
With the requirements of high-quality development in the new era,the planning and layout of kindergarten buildings need to fully consider the matching relationship between their service radius and population density.Priority should be given to the locations in the core area of the living circle that can be reached within 5~10 minutes of residents'travel.Based on the concept of"environment is education",its architectural design breaks through the traditional closed mode and advocates the concept of open and shared space.It organically connects green spaces,activity venues,and public spaces,and enhances the sense of belonging and interactivity of the place.At the same time,it pays attention to the environmental friendliness of materials and the application of color psychology to create a safe,warm,and inspiring growth environment,truly achieving the sustainable development goal of"putting children first".This paper takes the actual construction project of Wanshan Lake Experimental Kindergarten as an example to explore the strategies for the planning,site selection,and architectural design of the kindergartens in the new era.关键词
