肉毒素注射联合耳穴压豆治疗面肌痉挛45例
Clinical effect of botulinum toxin injection combined with ear acupoint bean pressing in treatment of hemifacial spasm:An analysis of 45 cases

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of botulinum toxin injection combined with ear acupoint bean pressing in the treatment of hemifacial spasm(HFS).Methods:A total of 90 patients with HFS were enrolled and ran-domly divided into treatment group and control group,with 45 patients in each group.The patients in the control group were given botulinum toxin injection,while those in the treatment group were given ear acupoint bean pressing in addition to the treatment in the control group.The two groups were compared in terms of the intensity and frequency grades of facial spasm and Facial Disability Index(FDI)score before and after treatment.Adverse reactions were recorded,and clinical out-come was assessed.Results:There was a significant difference in overall response rate between the treatment group and the control group[95.56％(43/45)vs 75.56％(34/45),P＜0.01].After treatment,both groups had significant changes in the intensity and frequency grades of facial spasm and the scores of physical function and psychosocial function in FDI,and there were significant differences in these indicators between the two groups after treatment(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).Compared with the control group,the treatment group had a significantly lower incidence rate of adverse reactions[28.89％(13/45)vs 44.44％(20/45)],as well as a significantly lower incidence rate of injection-related local reaction(P＜0.05).Conclusion:In the treatment of HFS,botulinum toxin injection combined with ear acupoint bean pressing can significantly improve clinical outcome,clinical symptoms,quality of life,and social activities,with a favorable safety profile,and therefore,it holds promise for clinical application.关键词
