Abstract

[Objective]The high-frequency power supply of electrostatic precipitator usually adopts LCC resonant converter structure and frequency conversion control mode.Under the condition of light load,the transformer core saturation phenomenon is easy to occur,which leads to the surge of resonant current and other problems,resulting in the impact damage of key components such as insulated gate bipolar transistor(IGBT)and resonant capacitor,which has become the difficulty of research and design in this field.In order to solve this problem,this paper proposes an asymmetric control method based on phase shift strategy.[Methods]In this paper,the mathematical model of core saturation and resonant current of high frequency power supply transformer is established.The limitation of traditional frequency conversion control mode in light load is analyzed.The phase shift control strategy is used to adjust the phase relationship of transformer drive signal in real time.On the premise of keeping the original circuit topology and parameters unchanged,the effective suppression of resonant current and the optimal control of flux reset process are realized.[Results]The research shows that the proposed phase shift control strategy not only maintains the original soft switching characteristics of the transformer,but also reduces the resonant current and effectively solves the magnetic saturation problem of the transformer under light load conditions.At the same switching frequency,the output voltage decreases from 76.4 kV to 38.4 kV under light load conditions,with a decrease of 49.7%.The resonant current decreases from 881 A to 690 A,with a decrease of 21.7%.The maximum magnetic flux density is limited to 0.16 T,and there is no magnetic saturation.The engineering application shows that the scheme runs continuously for 6000 h in the electrostatic precipitator of a factory,and there is no breakdown fault caused by magnetic saturation in the key components such as IGBT.The flashover frequency of the electric field of the dust collector is reduced from 3-28 times/min to 0-1 times/min,and the reliability of the system is significantly improved.[Conclusion]The scheme proposed in this paper has the advantages of zero hardware transformation cost,convenient operation and flexible control.It is especially suitable for environments with complex working conditions such as coal-fired power plant,steel and chemical industry,and provides a new idea for the anti-saturation design of high frequency power supply.
