Abstract
Objective:To investigate the feasibility and clinical outcomes of total laparoscopic choledochal cyst resection in children.Methods:The clinical data of 5 children who underwent total laparoscopic choledochal cyst resection and Roux-en-Y hepatico-jejunostomy between May 2022 and May 2024 were retrospectively analyzed.There were 1 male and 4 female patients.The cyst types were classified as 2 cases of type Ⅰa,1 case of type Ⅰb,1 case of type Ⅰc,and 1 case of type Ⅳa.Postoperative follow-up period ranged from 3 to 20 months.Surgical data and laboratory test results were analyzed to summarize the treatment experience.Results:All 5 surgeries were successfully completed.The surgical time was 218 min(range,185～246 min),and intraoperative blood loss was 20 mL(range,5～40 mL).Postoperative passage of flatus occurred within 2-4 d,and hospital stay was 8～9 d.Postoperative liver enzymes decreased.For the two patients(typeⅠb andⅠc)previously hospitalized for pancreatitis,amylase and lipase levels returned to normal after surgery.No complications such as anastomotic leakage,anastomotic stricture,or recurrent cholangitis occurred.Postoperative liver function was normal in all cases.Conclusions:Total laparoscopic choledochal cyst resection is safe and feasible for children,although it demands advanced laparoscopic surgical skills.关键词
