Role and dynamic progress of the nutrient inositol in embryonic neural development
摘要
Abstract
Embryonic neural development originates from the ectoderm,which first differentiates into the neural plate.It folds inward along the midline to form the neural groove.The lateral edges of the groove gradually elevate to form neural folds,which converge and fuse at the dorsal midline to form the neural tube.The neural tube,as the precursor of the central nervous system,plays an important role in the process of embryonic neural development.Inositol,a nutrient classified as a cyclitol,is a derivative of cyclohexanone.It mainly exists in free form as phosphatidylinositol,or as inositol phosphate derivatives within the body.And it is involved in various physiological processes of neural cells and plays key roles in signal transduction,gene expression regulation,and other cellular activities.This article reviews the role and dynamic progress concerning inositol in embryonic neural development,aiming to provide new insights for the early intervention,diagnosis,and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders,as well as to further elucidate the role and mechanisms of inositol influences neural development.关键词
