Abstract
As an important gold resource base in China,the Xiaoqinling gold mine in Tongguan has the advantages of abundant mineral resource and convenient transportation.This research area is located at the intersection between the northern margin of Xiaoqinling orogenic belt and Weihe basin.The rock types in this area are mainly granite and quartzite with high uniaxial compressive strength and poor drillability,which greatly restricts the drilling efficiency in geological exploration.In order to solve this technical difficulty,this research optimized the design of drill bit structure and obtained the following conclusions through on-site testing:in terms of core recovery rate,both drill bits can achieve high-fidelity sample collection,but the average core recovery rate,average core length and RQD value of PDC drill bit are slightly higher than those of impregnated diamond drill bit;in terms of drilling efficiency,the average penetration rate of PDC bit(1.04 m/h)is higher than that of impregnated diamond bit(0.80 m/h);in terms of economic benefits comparison,PDC drill bit saves 108.1 yuan per meter in drilling cost compared to impregnated drill bit.Based on the above results,the bit selection and application strategy for hard formation in Xiaoqinling gold mine can provide important technical reference for drilling engineering in the same type of gold mine area.关键词
