Abstract

Organic fertilizers are diverse in type and distinct in characteristics.Liquid organic fertilizer,which conforms to the development trend of modern agriculture,has attracted increasing attention.Clarifying the current research status and hotspots is of great significance for guiding fertilizer selection and identifying future research directions.To systematically understand the research status and hotspots of liquid organic fertilizer and to provide guidance for scientific selection and future studies,a bibliometric approach was adopted using"liquid organic fertilizer"as the topic.Relevant literature was retrieved from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)and Web of Science databases,and statistical analyses were conducted focusing on annual publication output,literature type,thematic distribution,research level,and institutional distribution.Results showed that large-scale research on liquid organic fertilizer both in China and abroad began in the early 21st century.Papers published in Chinese core journals accounted for approximately 20%of the total research output,while papers in English-language journals accounted for about 89%,indicating that in-depth and systematic core research on liquid organic fertilizer in China remains relatively insufficient.Existing studies mainly focus on application effects,application technology,and product development of liquid organic fertilizer,with research objectives primarily aimed at validating fertilizer efficiency of new products and promoting their application.In contrast,systematic research on action mechanisms and ecological and environmental effects is lacking.This study suggests that future research should place greater emphasis on the mechanisms of action of liquid organic fertilizer and its impacts on the ecological environment.
