Standardized Training of Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinical Thinking and Effect Evaluation for Traditional Chinese Medicine Residents

Abstract
Objective To discuss the application effect of the gradually strengthened training mode of"six step procedure of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome differentiation and treatment"in the standardized training of TCM residents in TCM clinical thinking training based on the Kirkpatrick evaluation model.Methods Forty TCM resident training participants from the Department of Traditional Internal Medicine of the People's Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group,with 20 participants in each group.The control group adopted the traditional training model,while the experimental group implemented the training mode of"six step procedure of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment".After the training,a comprehensive evaluation was conducted using the Kirkpatrick evaluation model.Results Reaction level:the comprehensive satisfaction of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group.Learning level:The experimental group had a better mastery of TCM theory and technical knowledge than the control group.Behavior level:the TCM clinical thinking and skills of both groups improved after training,and the improvement of the experimental group was greater than that of the control group.Result level:both the patient satisfaction and the superior physician satisfaction of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group.All the above differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion The training mode of"six step procedure of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment"can significantly improve the TCM clinical thinking and diagnosis and treatment abilities of TCM residents in standardized training,the Kirkpatrick evaluation model can comprehensively evaluate the effect of TCM clinical thinking training in TCM resident standardized training,with strong scientificity and feasibility.关键词
