摘要

Abstract

In order to investigate the effect of magnetic field action on individual droplets,the freezing as well as the frosting process of droplets under different magnetic field intensities(0-8 mT)was investigated by means of an applied DC magnetic field.The results show that the applied DC magnetic field has a delaying effect on the freezing process of droplets,and the optimal inhibitory field strength is 6 mT.When the temperature of the cold surface decreases or the ambient humidity increases to a certain degree,the magnetic field strength has little effect on the freezing process of droplets.During the frosting process on the frozen droplet surface,the growth rate of the frost layer grows rapidly during the frost crystal growth period,and then develops to become slow during the frost layer growth period.
