摘要

Abstract

To address the issue of scratch defects on 10kV cable insulation layers during traditional manual stripping,which compromise joint insulation performance and operational reliability,this study designed a novel cable stripping device.The device employs coordinated multi-group clamping pulley brackets,adjustable tool holders,and multi-dimensional guiding cutters to achieve stable clamping and precise stripping for cables of varying specifications,effectively preventing damage to the main insulation layer.COMSOL simulations and experimental analyses confirmed that scratch defects cause significant electric field distortion:simulation results showed that with a scratch depth of 2 mm,the peak electric field intensity in the defect region reached 1.15 kV/mm,representing a 62.0%distortion rate compared to the defect-free region(0.70 kV/mm).Experimental results indicated that as the scratch depth increased from 1 mm to 3 mm,the partial discharge inception voltage(PDIV)decreased from 19.8 kV to 14.3 kV(a 35.59%reduction),while the discharge magnitude increased from 12.4 pC to 58.8 pC,significantly elevating the risk of partial discharge.Compared to manual stripping,the stripping device improved insulation layer stripping efficiency by 40%and semi-conductive layer stripping efficiency by 47.67%.Microscopic observations revealed scratches on the main insulation surface after manual stripping,whereas the surface remained smooth after using the stripping device.The study provides quantitative evidence and technical support for optimizing cable joint fabrication processes,offering significant implications for enhancing cable operational reliability.
