Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of desmopressin tablets combined with Huaiqihuang granules in the treatment of pediatric enuresis.Methods:A retrospective anal-ysis was conducted on the clinical data of children with enuresis admitted to our hospital be-tween January 2023 and December 2024.Based on whether Huaiqihuang granules were ad-ministered,patients were divided into an observation group(41 cases)and a control group(58 cases).The observation group received desmopressin tablets combined with Huaiqi-huang granules,while the control group received desmopressin tablets alone.The two groups were compared in terms of the frequency of nocturnal enuresis episodes,recurrence rate,and incidence of adverse reactions.Results:The overall treatment efficacy in the ob-servation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The re-currence rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of desmopressin tablets and Hua-iqihuang granules yields a superior therapeutic effect in children with enuresis,effectively re-ducing recurrence rates while maintaining a low incidence of adverse reactions.This combi-nation therapy is safe and clinically valuable for pediatric enuresis management.
