Abstract

This study aimed to explore the community structure characteristics of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)in the rhizosphere of common garden plants in South China,clarify the effects of plant species,soil types and environmental factors on them,and reveal the interaction mechanism between AMF and garden plants.Rhizosphere soil and root samples of 30 garden plants(10 tree species,10 shrub species and 10 herbaceous species)were collected to analyze the colonization rate,spore density,species abundance and diversity index of AMF in the rhizosphere of different plants.The results showed that there were significant differences in the community characteristics of AMF in the rhizosphere of different plants.The colonization rate and spore density of AMF in the rhizosphere of herbaceous plants were generally higher than those of trees and shrubs.A total of 5 genera and 14 species of AMF were identified,and the distribution of AMF species in the rhizosphere of different plants was different and closely related to soil properties such as available potassium and aeration.
