摘要

Abstract

[Aim]To perform genome-wide identification and evolutionary analysis of genes of the odorant-binding protein(OBP)and chemosensory protein(CSP)families in three parasitoid species of the superfamily Chrysidoidea,and to predict the potential biological functions of the members of these families,so as to explore their possible roles in chemosensory mechanisms and the evolution of social behavior.[Methods]The genomic data of three Chrysidoidea parasitoid species Goniozus legneri,Sclerodermus alternatusi and Gonatopus flavifemur,as well as two reference species(Apis mellifera ligustica and Diachasma alloeum)were retrieved from public databases.The OBP and CSP family genes were identified using blastp and interproscan.The physicochemical properties and conserved motifs of OBPs and CSPs and their gene chromosomal locations were predicted using bioinformatic tools(Expert Protein Analysis System,SignalP,DeepTMHMM,WoLF PSORT and MEME).The phylogenetic trees of OBPs and CSPs were constructed using the maximum likelihood method with IQ-TREE.Gene synteny and duplication patterns were analyzed using MCScanX.[Results]A total of 9-13 OBP genes and 5-11 CSP genes were identified in the genomes of Goniozus legneri,Sclerodermus alternatusi and Gonatopus flavifemur.Gonatopus flavifemur had the fewest OBP and CSP genes(9 and 5,respectively).Most OBPs contained motif 1 and motif 2,typically in the order of(3)-1-(4)/(5)-2.All CSPs had motif 1 and motif 2 arranged in the order 1-2-(3)/(4).The OBP and CSP genes of the five hymenopteran species were clustered into eight phylogenetic clades.Few OBP and CSP genes(only 6 OBP and 8 CSP gene pairs)of the five hymenopteran species were located in collinear blocks.Gene duplication analysis result showed species-specific duplication modes:Singleton dominated in OBP genes of Gonatopus flavifemur and Goniozus legneri,while tandem repeats were predominant in OBP genes of the other species.For CSP genes,dispersed and tandem repeats were the most common.[Conclusion]The study provides an information frame of the OBP and CSP gene families in three parasitoid species of the superfamily Chrysidoidea,enriching the genomic database of this superfamily and providing a scientific reference for future research into the evolution of social behavior of Chrysidoidea.
