Opportunities,Challenges and Prospects of International Agricultural Science and Technology Cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative:A Case Study of China-Arab Cooperation

Abstract
Agricultural science and technology international cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative helps enhance the reach and influence of Chinese civilization and promotes the building of a China-Arab community with a shared future.Currently,agricultural science and technology cooperation between China and Arab countries mainly adopts three models:technology transfer,collaborative research,and market investment,presenting new opportunities in strategic planning,resource endowments,and food security.However,resource constraints under fragile ecological environments,geopolitical risks amid complex institutional settings,and cultural exchange barriers due to limitations in cooperation mechanisms remain major challenges for deepening collaboration.To promote China-Arab agricultural science and technology cooperation,efforts can focus on deepening collaborative technological innovation,improving the development of cooperation platforms,and enhancing the quality of talent cultivation,while exploring pathways for green development,strengthening institutional safeguards,and consolidating the foundations of cooperation.关键词
