Abstract

To explore the stability of 3D soil-reinforced geomat ecological slopes under the infiltration of river water,orthogonal design test method is adopted.Indoor slope infiltration instability tests are carried out considering four factors:presence/absence of geomat,slope gradient,grass seed density,and water flow velocity.The differences in the influence of these four factors on slope stability under water infiltration,as well as their primary and secondary relationships,are analyzed.On this basis,numerical simulation is used to further study the improvement effect of geomat reinforcement on slope stability,reveal the variation laws of slope safety factor and strain under different working conditions,and clarify the internal correlation between geomat and slope stability.The results show that the primary-secondary order of factors affecting the soil-retaining capacity of the slope is:slope gradient>water flow velocity>geomat>grass seed density;the primary-secondary order of factors affecting the slope erosion area is:slope gradient>grass seed density>flow velocity>geomat.Comprehensive analysis of the optimal combination of the two indicators shows that the slope achieves the best slope stabilization effect when the geomat is laid on the middle and bottom of the slope,with a slope gradient of 30°,grass seed density of 45 g·m⁻²,and water flow velocity of 3 m·s⁻¹.The numerical simulation results further verify that the 3D soil-reinforced ecological geomat has significant slope stabilization performance,which can provide a scientific reference for the design of river ecological slope protection projects.
