Exploring Wang Weichuan's academic thoughts and clinical experience in treating gynecological pain disorders

Abstract
Based on Sichuan's hot-humid climate and classical TCM theory,Wang Weichuan,a renowned physician of the Sichuan school,proposed the core pathogenesis of gynecological pain disorders:Impairment of the Chong and Ren meridians as the root,with dampness-stasis interbinding as the branch.He pioneered the unique tri-therapeutic system of regulating(shu),unblocking(tong),and nourishing(yang),and formed a stage-specific treatment strategy of prioritizing unblocking and regulating in the acute phase,and combining nourishing with unblocking in the chronic phase.In clinical practice,he was skilled at using authentic regional medicinal materials of Sichuan and insect drugs,attached great importance to the compatibility of medicines and modification according to symptoms,and created a series of empirical prescriptions for treating gynecological pain.Modern studies have confirmed that his prescriptions can work through multiple targets.Wang Weichuan's academic thoughts on treating gynecological pain disorders possess both regional adaptability and clinical effectiveness,providing important theoretical basis and clinical reference for the treatment of modern gynecological pain disorders.关键词
