摘要

Abstract

The mold design and material selection for the high-voltage connector socket housing directly affect the reliability of the equipment.This paper proposes a mold design scheme based on carbon fiber composite materials.By optimizing the gating system with a bull-horn latent gate and combining a surrounding cooling circuit with a well-type cooling circuit,the molding efficiency is significantly improved.Experimental results indicate that the optimized pouring time is reduced to 7.22 s,with a melt shear rate of 4×105 s-1 and a filling rate exceeding 98%.Moreover,the corrosion potential of the carbon fiber composite material remains stable at-0.11 V,while its tensile strength(209 MPa)and flexural strength(268 MPa)surpass those of traditional metal materials.When the carbon fiber content is increased to 30%,the warpage of the plastic part at the vertical and parallel cross-sections is reduced to 0.1414 mm and 0.1413 mm,respectively,and the service life of the mold is extended to 8 years.This study provides a technical reference for the design of injection molds for high-precision socket housings.This study provides technical reference forthe design of high-precision injection molds for socket housings.
