中医药调控氧化应激机制抗脑缺血再灌注损伤的研究进展
Research Progress on the Mechanism of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Regulating Oxidative Stress Against Cerebral Ischemia-reperfusion Injury
摘要
Abstract
Ischemic stroke(IS)is a disease characterized by cerebral ischemia and hypoxia,which leads to pathological damages such as neuronal necrosis and functional disorders.It exhibits a high incidence rate and a high disability rate.Cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury(CIRI)serves as the primary secondary injury,which can lead to permanent disability or even death in severe ca-ses.The main pathological mechanisms of CIRI encompass oxidative stress(OS),calcium overload,inflammatory responses,autoph-agy and apoptosis,etc.Among these mechanisms,oxidative stress is regarded as the fundamental basis of CIRI.Therefore,it is of great significance to target oxidative stress for treating CIRI.Oxidative stress is triggered when the equilibrium between the oxidative and antioxidant systems in the body or tissues is disrupted.Excessive production of reactive oxygen species causes protein denatur-ation,DNA damage,lipid peroxidation,and other detrimental effects,mediating cellular and tissue damage through multiple path-ways.With the development of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),the research on TCM in treating CIRI has made substantial progress.A multitude of studies have also demonstrated that numerous TCM compounds and components can effectively treat CIRI by exerting antioxidant stress effects.关键词
