摘要

Abstract

In pig nutrition,dietary fiber(DF)constitutes an essential nutritional foundation and serves as a primary substrate for intestinal microbiota.Microbial fermentation of dietary fiber generates metabolic energy and bioactive metabolites that participate in host nutrient metabolism and contribute to the mainte-nance of intestinal functional homeostasis and improved growth performance.Owing to differ-ences in structural characteristics and physico-chemical properties,fiber feed ingredients from diverse sources exhibit considerable variation in feeding value.Appropriate inclusion of dietary fiber can influence digesta transit and satiety,modulate microbial community composition,and enhance intestinal barrier function,thereby supporting gut health.This review summarizes the nutritional characteristics and feeding value of dietary fiber feed ingredi-ents in pig diets and discusses the molecular mechanisms by which dietary fiber regulates intestinal homeo-stasis in pigs.The aim is to provide a scientific basis for improving the efficient utilization of dietary fiber in pig nutrition.
