Numerical analysis on dynamic response of settlement-adjustable wind turbine foundation in deep dump in mining area

Abstract
The settlement-adjustable wind turbine foundation is an innovative foundation designed specifically for soft soils and other special sites.Based on the wind turbine project in Inner Mongolia,a three-dimensional finite element model was created,focusing on deep soft soils.The study investigates the stress response and load transfer mechanisms of the wind turbine foundation under dynamic loads.The results indicate that,the settlement-adjustable wind turbine foundation interacts with the soil,forming an integrated zone analogous to a composite foundation,which enhances the overall stiffness of the soil in this region.Under wind load,the area exhibits a"bowl-shaped"settlement pattern.The load transfer of the cast-in-place piles significantly catalyzes the consolidation settlement of soil layers with inferior physical and mechanical properties.The maximum settlement region of the gravity foundation is located slightly leeward of the foundation center.The earth pressure is greater at the edges than at the center.The minimum soil pressure is observed in the soil region inside the top of the pile shaft.The load at the base of the gravity foundation is primarily borne through a dynamic equilibrium between piles and soil under the cyclic loading condition.The pile-soil load sharing ratio demonstrates a progressive increase with loading duration,ultimately reaching 0.438 at the termination of loading.关键词
