Advances in mechanisms of brain metastasis from lung cancer
摘要
Abstract
Lung cancer continues to be the most common malignancy globally.Brain metastases,especially meningeal metastasis,are severe complications of metastatic lung cancer,and significantly diminishes the quality of life and drastically reduces survival.This process is driven by a multi-step and highly complex biological cascade,the exact mechanism of which remains incompletely understood.Given the poor prognosis associated with brain metastases,particularly meningeal involvement,a deeper insight into its pathogenesis is essential for developing new treatment strategies.This review consolidates current knowledge on the process and mechanisms of parenchymal and men-ingeal metastasis in lung cancer,with the goal of providing a theoretical basis for precision clinical decision-making and improving patient outcomes.关键词
