Research Progress on Extraction of Titanium from Titanium-bearing Blast Furnace Slag by Hydrometallurgy

Abstract
The treatment and resource utilization of titanium-bearing blast furnace slag are the focus and difficult point of research on environmental protection for the iron and steel industry.The research progress on extraction of titanium from titanium-bearing blast furnace slag is reviewed,and the principle,process characteristics,treatment effects,existing problems,industrial prospects and environmental impact of sulfuric acid leaching,hydrochloric acid leaching,organic acid leaching,ammonium sulfate melting,ammonium chloride roasting,alkali melting methods for treatment of titanium-bearing blast furnace slag are analyzed.The technical requirements and development trends of extraction of titanium from titanium-bearing blast furnace slag by hydrometallurgy are prospected.关键词
