中国兰科一新种——麻栗坡天麻

摘要
Abstract
In April 2025,the research team discovered a saprophytic herb of the Gastrodia genus in Malipo County,Yunnan.It was identified as a new orchid species and named Gastrodia malipoensis Z.Zhang & R.H.Xu.The plant stands 15-22 cm tall,lacks green leaves,and bears a single fleshy reddish-brown flower at its apex.The gynostemium is about 8 mm long,featuring wings and teeth,with a flowering period from March to May.Currently,only a single small population has been found in the area,located in an evergreen broad-leaved forest at an elevation of 1,259 m.This species dif-fers from its close relative,Gastrodia damingshanensis,by having a single terminal flower(versus 1-3 flowers in the latter),entire apical margins on the lateral sepals(versus finely tipped),and a winged and toothed column(versus absent).关键词
