Construction of Financial Power and High-quality Development of Real Economy:Theoretical Analysis and Empirical Evidence

Abstract
As the blood of the real economy,finance has the functions of allocating resources and media transactions,which has an important impact on the direction,speed and quality of the high-quality development of the real economy.This paper takes 287 cities at prefecture level and above from 2014 to 2024 as the research object,and uses the two-way fixed effect model to em-pirically test the impact of financial power construction on high-quality development of the real economy.The research results show that the construction of financial power has a significant enabling effect on high-quality development of the real economy,and that this conclusion still holds true after robustness and endogeneity tests.The results of the mechanism test show that techno-logical innovation and financial resource allocation play a intermediary role in the process of the construction of financial power af-fecting the high-quality development of the real economy.Heterogeneity test results show that in cities in the eastern region,megacities and super-large cities,and high-tech level cities,the enabling role of building a financial power is more significant.关键词
