Abstract
In response to issues such as unstable temperature control,incomplete reaction,and reading parallax in the traditional gas volumetric method for carbonate determination,this paper presented an analytical method for measuring carbonate content in soil based on a constant-temperature water bath shaker oscillation-gas volumetric method.The effects of oscillation temperature,frequency,and time on the measurement results were systematically investigated,and key performance parameters of the method were evaluated,including detection limit,quantitation limit,precision,and accuracy.Comparative analyses were also conducted between the results obtained by this method and those from the traditional gas volumetric method.Results indicated that under optimized experimental conditions,the method demonstrated excellent linearity(R2>0.999),with a detection limit of 0.5 g·kg-1,a quantitation limit of 3.0 g·kg-1,and relative standard deviations ranging from 0.83%to 2.13%,and relative errors between-1.06%and 1.26%.Validation using certified reference materials showed that measured values fall within the uncertainty range of the certified values,indicating high accuracy and good reproducibility.Compared with the traditional method,this method showed significant improvements in both accuracy and precision,offering higher analytical reliability and practicality.Furthermore,the method was simple to operate,process-controllable,and suitable for batch sample testing,effectively improving testing efficiency while reducing human error and labor intensity.It met the demands of large-scale soil sample analysis and could provide reliable technical support for studies on soil carbon cycling,arable land quality assessment,and ecosystem management.关键词
