Abstract
The ocean is a strategic area that enriches the green foundation of high-quality developmen,a key to balancing the development of the marine economy and the construction of marine ecological civilization.As an important cradle and pioneering practice area of the concept of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization,Xiamen has,through 37-year marine ecological governance,embarked on a path of harmonious coexistence between humans and the ocean.This article conducts a historical review of the"Xiamen Practice"of harmonious coexistence between humans and the ocean,and summarizes its exploration characteristics that progress from"stagnation"to"governance",expands from"point"to"area",and moves from"surface"to"depth";it then delves into the contemporary value of this practice in aspects such as"a community of life","ecological productivity",and"people-centeredness";finally,it proposes the action direction for the future"Xiamen Practice",which should advance the coordinated implementation of the"four-in-one"stragtegy of carbon reduction,pollution control,green expansion and growth:comprehensively improving the efficiency of marine resource utilization to achieve"carbon reduction",through land-sea integration to comprehensively manage the marine environment to achieve"pollution reduction",through protection and restoration of the marine ecological spaces to achieve carbon sequestration and"expansion of green areas",and through promoting the green transformation of marine industrial structure to achieve"growth",thereby contributing wisdom to exploring a new form of human marine civilization.关键词
