Emerging Industries—Critical Minerals Nexus and the Circular Economy of Emerging Solid Wastes
摘要
Abstract
The rapid development of emerging industries in China will produce a large amount of emerging solid wastes.The traditional waste resources recycling and utilization system cannot fully meet the emerging solid waste disposal needs.This paper proposes and constructs an"emerging industry—critical minerals nexus",which shows that the development of emerging industries is highly dependent on critical mineral resources,emerging industries can generate emerging solid wastes,and the recycling and reuse of emerging solid waste can reduce pollution and make up the shortage for critical minerals.The harmless and resource-based disposal of emerging solid waste is the premise of forming a closed-loop mechanism,which has practical significance for improving the sustainability of critical minerals supply and consolidating the mineral resource base for the development of emerging industries.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen policy pre-research and reserve,further implement the extended producer responsibility system by improving policies and regulations,accelerate the construction of a sound emerging solid waste recycling standard system,strengthen equipment or product life cycle management,focus on improving technology research and development capabilities,and stimulate the internal impetus for the industrial development of emerging solid waste recycling.关键词
