摘要
Abstract
Suprachoroidal hemorrhage(SCH)is a rare but severely vision-threatening surgical complication. It predominantly occurs during or following procedures such as glaucoma surgery, corneal transplantation, and cataract surgery. The main clinical manifestations of SCH include a sudden decline visual acuity, often accompanied by symptoms such as headache, eye pain and swelling, elevated intraocular pressure(IOP),a shallow anterior chamber, and dark-brown convex choroidal elevations. The management approach for SCH hinges on the severity and extent of the hemorrhage.Mild cases can be managed conservatively, enabling the accumulated blood to be absorbed spontaneously. However, when"kissing signs"are present, choroidal detachment involves the macula,or IOP remains uncontrolled, surgical intervention becomes necessary.Surgical options range from external drainage procedures alone to a combination of external drainage and pars plana vitrectomy.Typically, the optimal timing for surgery is typically 7~15 days after the onset of hemorrhage, though the visual prognosis often remains unfavorable.Given that SCH can inflict irreversible damage on vision, its prevention, early diagnosis, and standardized treatment hold particular significance in clinical practice. This article presents a comprehensive review of the entire diagnosis and treatment process of a case of suprachoroidal hemorrhage that occured after glaucoma surgery. Moreover,by integrating recent domestic and international literature,it offers a systematic overview of the pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, auxiliary examinations, and treatment advancements of SCH.The objective is to deepen the understanding of postoperative SCH in glaucoma surgery and, ultimately, reduce the incidence of severe vision loss associated with this condition.关键词
