Professor Ji Wenyan's Experience in Treating Hypertension Through Internal-External Therapy Based on"Dispering Fire Stagnation"Theory
摘要
Abstract
Hypertension is a prevalent cardiovascular disease in clinical practice.Professo Ji Wenyan posits that"fire stagnation"underlies the entire pathogenesis of hypertension,evolving through three distinct phases:initial stage(Qi stagnation with fire stagnation and upward-downward counterflow),intermediate stage(phlegm-stasis complicating the condition and damaging vessels),and late stage(Yin-Yang imbalance with visceral impairment).Guided by the"dis-pering fire stagnation"principle,treatment adopts stage-specific differentiation and internal-external combined therapy.Chinese materia medica formulas are integrated with external therapies-primarily collateral pricking-bloodletting.For Qi stagnation and fire stagnation syndrome,the self-formulated Shuyu Qingjiang Powder(疏郁清降散)is prescribed,combined with bloodletting at Ear Apex(LO1),pricking and cupping at Dazhui(GV14),and Gua Sha on the neck-shoulder region to dredge meridians;for phlegm-stasis collateral obstruction,Huatang Tongluo Formula(化痰通络方)or Modified Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction(血府逐瘀汤)is paired with bloodletting at Fenglong(ST40)and Xuehai(SP10),auricular acupuncture,and acupoint application to dissolve phlegm,dispel turbidity,and remove stasis;For cold-heat complexity and Yin-Yang imbalance syndrome,Wumei Pill(乌梅丸)is prescribed to harmonize cold-heat and balance Yin-Yang,complemented by auricular apex bloodletting,Yongquan(KI1)acupoint application,and customized acu-puncture protocols.A representative case is included for validation.关键词
