Reclassification of singlehood:An exploration from dual perspectives of personal motivation and group identity
摘要
Abstract
Although singlehood has become increasingly common in modern society.existing research still tends to adopt a homogeneous assumption,overlooking differences in motivational autonomy and identity recognition.Such simplification limits the ability to capture the psychological heterogeneity and dynamic nature of singlehood.In response to this gap,the present study integrates Self-Determination Theory and Social Identity Theory to propose a two-dimensional classification model—the"Autonomy×Social Identity"framework—which categorizes single individuals into autonomous,identity-based,passive,and adaptive types.Building on this model,the study further examines their psychological profiles and potential transformation pathways.Overall,this framework not only provides a new theoretical perspective for understanding singlehood,but also offers an operable framework for future empirical research and practical application.关键词
