Differentiation and Treatment of Accumulation and Stagnation in Children Based on the Theory of"Earth Being Dredged by Wood"
摘要
Abstract
Huangdi Neijing puts forward the concept of"Earth Being Dredged by Wood"and summarizes the relation-ship between the five elements,and the opinions of medical practitioners through the ages have not been uniform,and they have elaborated from different perspectives on the interactions-including mutual promotion and restraint,control and generation,and over-restriction(over-acting)-among the Earth(Spleen)and Wood(Liver)elements.Accumula-tion and stagnation in children,as a common disease of the spleen and stomach system in children,can develop into gan accumulation(malnutrition)in severe cases,endangering children.Clinical diagnosis and treatment are often based on the theory of"Earth Being Dredged by Wood",and the therapeutic effect is remarkable.Therefore,the etiology and pathogenesis of childhood accumulation and stagnation can be understood through the lens of Liver-Wood and Spleen-Earth relationships.The key pathological patterns include Wood over-restricting Earth(Liver Qi invading Spleen),Earth insulting Wood(Spleen Dampness encumbering the Liver),and Wood failing to dredge Earth(Liver Qi stagna-tion failing to promote Spleen function).The treatment of accumulation and stagnation in children in the clinical diag-nosis and treatment should be based on the liver and spleen,in order to solve the disorders of the liver and spleen as an entry point,to inhibit the liver and support the spleen,transport the spleen to soften the liver and to ease the liver and strengthen the spleen as the main points of treatment,and to coordinate and co-manage the multiple internal organs,in order to provide a sufficient theoretical basis and new ideas for the clinical diagnosis and treatment.The aim is to pro-vide sufficient theoretical basis and new ideas for clinical diagnosis and treatment.关键词
