Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of ureteroscopy combined with flexible negative pressure suction sheath on stone clearance rate and quality of life in patients with kidney stones.Methods The clinical data of 98 patients with kidney stones admitted to our hospital were retrospectively analyzed.The patients who underwent ureteroscopy combined with flexible negative pressure suction sheath were selected as the flexible group(41 cases),and the patients who underwent ureteroscopy combined with ordinary ureteroscopic sheath were selected as the ordinary group(57 cases).The operation time,intraoperative blood loss,hospitalization time,and stone clearance rate were compared between the two groups.The visual analogue scale(VAS)scores for pain and the 36-item short form(SF-36)scores for quality of life of patients in the two groups were evaluated before operation and 2 weeks after operation.The levels of superoxide dismutase(SOD),malondialdehyde(MDA),plasma cortisol(Cor),interleukin-6(IL-6)and procalcitonin(PCT)of patients in the two groups were detected before operation and 2 weeks after operation.The complications of patients in the two groups during the treatment period were counted.Results The operation time,intraoperative blood loss and hospitalization time of patients in the flexible group were shorter/less than those in the ordinary group(P<0.05),and the stone clearance rate was higher than that in the ordinary group(P<0.05).At 2 weeks after operation,the VAS scores of patients in the two groups were significantly lower than those before operation(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).At 2 weeks after operation,the SF-36 scores of patients in the two groups were significantly higher than those before operation(P<0.05),and the SF-36 scores of patients in the flexible group were significantly higher than those in the ordinary group(P<0.05).Compared with those before operation,the SOD levels of patients in the two groups decreased 2 weeks after operation(P<0.05),while the Cor,IL-6,MDA and PCT levels increased(P<0.05).Two weeks after operation,the SOD level of patients in the flexible group was higher than that in the ordinary group(P<0.05),and the levels of Cor,IL-6,MDA,and PCT were lower than those in the ordinary group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of ureteroscopy and flexible negative pressure suction sheath can significantly increase the stone clearance rate in patients with kidney stones,better maintain the body's antioxidant capacity,and reduce the excessive increase in the levels of inflammatory and stress-related factors,thereby effectively alleviating the excessive stress response of the body caused by surgery and improving the quality of life of patients.关键词
