Abstract
Helicase, lymphoid specific(HELLS),which are DNA helicases located in the 10q23-q24 region of human chromosomes, play a crucial role in cell cycle progression and gene expression regulation.Recent studies have demonstrated that HELLS is significantly associated with the onset and progression of various malignancies. This gene has been shown to facilitate the development of multiple human cancers, including retinoblastoma, glioblastoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic carcinoma, and nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and affect the prognosis of patients.Alterations in its expression levels can serve as potential diagnostic and prognostic markers, providing valuable insights for the treatment and prevention of these tumors. This paper reviews the molecular structure and function of HELLS,and the relationship between HELLS and tumors, revealing their potential as therapeutic targets for tumors.关键词
