Application of Systems Biology in the Study of Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis Syndrome

Abstract
Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome(QDBS)is the core syndrome of clinical differentiation and research in traditional Chinese medicine.With the continuous advancement of modernization of traditional Chinese medicine,revealing the essence of this syndrome has become a key issue now.The core pathogenesis of this syndrome is the deficiency of vital energy leading to poor blood circulation and stagnation in the body,with complex and diverse clinical manifestations.However,the traditional four diagnostic methods of"observation,auscultation and olfaction inquiry,and pulse palpation"in traditional Chinese medicine lack exclusive objective indicators,which hinders the accurate diagnosis and efficacy evaluation of QDBS.Multi-omics technologies(genomics,transcriptomics,proteomics,metabolomics,etc.)have the characteristic of dynamically studying organisms from a holistic perspective,which is highly compatible with the connotation of the"holistic view"of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome,providing a powerful tool for systematically analyzing QDBS from multiple levels and perspectives.This review aims to summarize the research progress of systems biology techniques in revealing the formation and development mechanisms of QDBS in recent years,further optimize relevant research methods,deepen the understanding of syndrome mechanisms,and provide new ideas for the treatment of QDBS.关键词
