Abstract
Objective To explore the risk factors associated with peripheral neurotoxicity(PN)in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)who received chemotherapy with albumin-bound paclitaxel combined with carboplatin,in order to provide a basis for clinical prevention and management.Method A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 98 patients with advanced NSCLC who received albumin-bound paclitaxel combined with carboplatin chemotherapy in Cangzhou People's Hospital from May 2022 to May 2025.The occurrence of PN was evaluated and classified according to the common terminology criteria for adverse event 5.0 standard.Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were used to screen the independent risk factors for the occurrence of PN.Result Among the 98 patients,a total of 52 patients developed PN,with an overall incidence rate of 53.06%.The results of multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age≥65 years old,combined diabetes mellitus,number of chemotherapy cycles≥4,high cumulative dose of albumin-bound paclitaxel,and serum albumin＜35 g/L were independent risk factors for PN in patients with advanced NSCLC after receiving albumin-bound paclitaxel combined with carboplatin chemotherapy(all P＜0.05).Conclusion The incidence of PN is relatively high in patients with advanced NSCLC after receiving albumin-bound paclitaxel combined with carboplatin chemotherapy.Advanced age,combined diabetes,long chemotherapy cycle,high cumulative drug dose and hypoalbuminemia are independent risk factors for PN.In clinical practice,patients with the above characteristics should be closely monitored and targeted interventions should be provided in a timely manner to improve their quality of life.关键词
